Madremonte Indígena , is a non-profit organization that works to contribute to the well-being of indigenous peoples and communities, strengthening their social and economic development process, respecting their culture and the exercise of their rights.
Chaired by Colombian Singer Songwriter Angélica López, it seeks to contribute to the preservation of indigenous heritage and the well-being of its people, through the participation of the public and private sector, with the intention to create and support projects that strengthen respect for the cultural manifestations of these communities, as well as the implementation of different social and economic development schemes, always respecting the exercise of their rights.

Our mission is to promote cultural wealth through projects that preserve, strengthen and spread the indigenous heritage, especially the support for indigenous women, so that they assume with unity, autonomy and dignity, the control of their territories and the defense of their human and collective rights; highlighting at the same time the principles of respect that both empower youth and revalue their ancestral knowledge.
Indigenous women are the backbone of indigenous communities and play a crucial role in preserving food security.I They are closely linked to the educational process
